Global Addition of Activities (tdsmi2210m100)

Use this session to globally add activities to business partners (prospects or customers), opportunities, contacts, or activities.

Field Information

Business Object

The business object (business partners, opportunities, contacts, or activities) to which the activities must be added.

Active Contacts Only

If this check box is selected, the activities must only be added to contacts who are active.

Open Activities Only

If this check box is selected, the activities must only be added to activities that are still open.

Advanced Selection

If this check box is selected, you can enter a selection code to select data from the database or from part of it (if you specify a restricted range in the database).

Template

The activity template based on which tasks are generated in the Activities (tccom6100m000) and Task (tccom6600m300) sessions.

Note: You can use the activity for selection purposes later on and execute a follow-up.
Assign To

Select to whom the task is assigned.

Allowed values

Do Not Assign

The activity is left unassigned.

External Sales Representative

The activity is assigned to the employee of your company responsible for external contact with the business partner.

Internal Sales Representative

The activity is assigned to the employee of your company responsible for internal contact with the business partner.

Specific Employee

The activity is assigned to a specific employee or to yourself.

Employee

The employee to whom the task is assigned.

Note: You can assign the task to yourself by clicking the Assign To Me button.
Update Mode

Define the update mode.

  • Simulate

    If this check box is selected, the addition of activities is only simulated, not processed.
  • Update

    If this check box is selected, the addition of activities is processed.
Report

If this check box is selected, a report is printed that displays the results of the addition of activities.

Selection Text

If this check box is selected, a selection text is printed (if present) on the report.
