Header Exceptions (tdsls4191m000)

Use this session to define the copy exceptions when copying existing sales order headers to target sales order headers.

You must choose one of following copy actions to define how the exceptions are copied to the target sales order header:

Prompt
The selected field can be manually filled in the Copy Sales Orders - Prompts (tdsls4201s100) session. By default, the field is filled by the source order.
Retrieve Default
Infor Baan retrieves a default value based on standard defaulting logic.
Copy From...
For date fields, you can select which date must be copied to the target sales order.

Note: To automatically copy the fields from the source order header to the target order header, do not select the field as a copy exception in this session. Copy exceptions that are linked by default can be removed.

Attributes

A copy exception for which you must define a Copy Action in this session.

Copy Action

Choose how the copy exception is copied to the target sales order header.

Note:

For the following Attributes, you can only select Copy From...:

Order Date
Planned Delivery Date
Planned Receipt Date

Allowed values

Retrieve Default

A value is retrieved for the copy exception based on standard defaulting logic.

Copy From...

For date fields, select which date must be copied to the target sales order.

For quantity fields, select which quantity must be copied to the target sales order line.

Copy From Original

For Component Lines, the components that are linked to the source order line are copied to the target order line.

Copy from Attribute

If the copy exception is a date field, select which date must be copied to the target sales order.

Allowed values

Planned Delivery Date: The planned delivery date from the source order is copied to the target order for copy exceptions set to Order Date or Planned Receipt Date.
Planned Receipt Date: The planned receipt date from the source order is copied to the target order for copy exceptions set to Order Date or Planned Delivery Date.
Order Date: The order date from the source order is copied to the target order for copy exceptions set to Planned Delivery Date or Planned Receipt Date.
