Approve Sales Schedules (tdsls3211m000)

Use this session to approve sales schedules.

In addition, you can use this session to do the following:

  • Adjust sales schedules before approval
  • Specify options for consolidating sales schedule lines on planned warehouse orders
Note: 
  • In the Adjust Sales Schedules (tdsls3210m000) session, you can also adjust sales schedules.
  • To consolidate sales lines after approval, use the Consolidate Planned Delivery Lines (tdsls3220m000) session.
  • LN considers the fill-up logic specified for a package definition in the Handling Unit Templates (whwmd4160m000) session, during the approval of a Referenced Schedule only if the Apply Fill Up Logic to Referenced Schedules check box is selected in:
    • The Schedule Terms and Conditions (tctrm1131m000) session and
    • The Terms and Conditions - Search Results (tctrm2151m000) session

Field Information

Adjust

If this check box is selected, before approving the sales schedule, LN adjusts the incoming sales schedule requirements. The sales schedule's status first changes to Adjusted.

Simulate Approval

If this check box is selected, sales schedule approval is only simulated, not processed.

If this check box is selected, the following are shown:

  • The effects of the schedule (revision) approval. This enables you to understand the changes and to, for example, manually intervene or not approve this revision and wait for the next (changed) revision.
  • For each schedule line of the sales schedule (revision), updates to linked planned warehouse orders. The creation of new planned warehouse orders for new schedule lines is not reported.
Note: 
  • This check box is only shown if the Use Contracts for Schedules check box is selected in the Sales Schedule Parameters (tdsls0100s500) session.
  • Updates to planned warehouse orders are logged as messages in the Message Log (tcstl1500m000) session, which is displayed as a tab in the Sales Schedule (tdsls3611m000) session.
Print Report

If this check box is selected, a report is generated with the sales schedules that are approved.

Consolidate Options for Planned Delivery Lines
Ignore Delivery Pattern

If this check box is selected, the Delivery Pattern, as specified in the Sales Contract Line Logistic Data (tdsls3102m000) session, is ignored when consolidating sales schedule lines on planned warehouse orders.

Move Past Requirements

If this check box is selected, for schedule lines with a requirement start date in the past, the New Requirement Start Date is used when consolidating sales schedule lines on planned warehouse orders.

Note: You cannot select this check box if the New Requirement Start Date is in the range of Original Requirement Start Date From and Original Requirement Start Date To and the Combine Planned Delivery Lines check box is also selected.
New Requirement Start Date

The new requirement start date used to consolidate schedule lines with a requirement start date in the past.

Move Non-Pattern Requirements

If this check box is selected, for schedule lines with a requirement start date not derived from the Delivery Pattern, the New Requirement Start Date is used when consolidating sales schedule lines on planned warehouse orders.

Note: You cannot select this check box if the New Requirement Start Date is in the range of Original Requirement Start Date From and Original Requirement Start Date To and the Combine Planned Delivery Lines check box is also selected.
New Requirement Start Date

The new requirement start date used to consolidate schedule lines with a requirement start date not derived from the Delivery Pattern.

Combine Planned Delivery Lines

If this check box is selected, for schedule lines with a requirement start date that is in the range of Original Requirement Start Date From and Original Requirement Start Date To, the New Requirement Start Date is used when consolidating sales schedule lines on planned warehouse orders.

Note: You cannot select his check box if the new requirement start date of one of the other options is in the range of Original Requirement Start Date From and Original Requirement Start Date To.
New Requirement Start Date

The new requirement start date used to consolidate schedule lines with a requirement start date that is in the range of Original Requirement Start Date From and Original Requirement Start Date To.

Original Requirement Start Date

The first date in the range of original requirement start dates that must be changed for consolidation.

Original Requirement Start Date To

The last date in the range of original requirement start dates that must be changed for consolidation.
