Maintain Item Dimensions (tdpur4811s000)
Use this session to maintain item dimensions in connection with ordered quantities.
Existing dimensions are imported from the order/contract line and can be changed.
The ordered quantity is calculated on the basis of the dimensions entered, but the quantity can be overwritten.
- If the purchase unit has the physical quantity Length, Area, or Volume, this session is started automatically from the Ordered Quantity field in the Purchase Order Lines (tdpur4101m000) session or from the Agreed Quantity field in the Purchase Contract Lines (tdpur3101m000) session. In the current session, you can enter the dimensions (length, width and height) to calculate the quantity.
- LN only starts this session automatically if the Purchase Order Unit of Measure field in the Procurement Parameters (tdpur0100m000) session has the value Length, Area, or Volume.

The number of units on which the calculation of the order quantity on the order/contract line is based.
For example, if 4 plates of steel of 1 meter x 1 meter are ordered, enter 4 in this field.

Example
If 4 plates of steel are ordered of 2 meters x 1 meter, and the purchase unit is square meters, the session offers 8 as default value. This value can be overwritten. The quantity is also recorded on the order line.
