Generate Release Lines (tdpur3222m000)

Use this session to:

Generate purchase release lines for nonreferenced schedules
Cluster the schedule lines of nonreferenced schedules

You can view the release lines in the Purchase Release Line (tdpur3121m000) session and the clustered schedule lines in the Purchase Release Line - Details (tdpur3522m000) session. The generated release lines and release line details, both have the status Created.

If you run this session, LN first checks whether a purchase release already exists for the combination of Buy-from Business Partner, Ship-from Business Partner, Release Type, Shipment/Receipt Based based schedule, Ship-to Address, Communication Channel, and Warehouse in the Purchase Releases (tdpur3120m000) session. Dependent on whether or not LN finds a purchase release in the Purchase Releases (tdpur3120m000) session, and depending on the release status of the purchase release, if present, specific actions are taken (see Purchase releases).

Note: In the Purchase Release Line - Details (tdpur3522m000) session, you can update the generated release lines, before they are approved in the Approve Release Lines (tdpur3222m100) session.

Field Information

Material Release: If this check box is selected, release lines are generated for material releases.
Shipping Schedule: If this check box is selected, release lines are generated for shipping schedules.
Error Report: If this check box is selected, if errors occur while generating release lines, an error report is generated.
Process Report: If this check box is selected, a process report is generated.
