Resource Management Parameters (tcrac0100m000)

Use this session to define the parameter settings for the integration of resource assignments with the appointments defined in CRM. The CRM representative can view the (planned) visits of the employees, to the customer. Also, the new tasks assigned to the employees are visible to the customer relation manager and the customer. The resource assignments can be displayed as appointments and synchronized with Outlook. The various parameters are grouped and displayed on separate tabs in this session.

Field Information

Introduction Date

The date and time from when the parameters are valid. The parameters are valid up to the effective date of a more recent parameter setting.

Create CRM Appointments for Service Assignments

If this check box is selected, the synchronization between service assignments and CRM appointments is enabled. The CRM appointments are created and updated with resource assignment data, in Service .

Note: When this check box is selected, an Activity of the type Appointment is created in the Activities (tccom6100m000) session, for each service assignment in the Service Engineer Assignments (tssoc2505m000) session.

Organizer of CRM Appointments

The code of the organizer defined as the Service Employee in the Employees - Service (tsmdm1140m000) session.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if you select the Create CRM Appointments for Service Assignments check box.
  • For the employee specified in this field, the Create CRM Appointments for Assignments checkbox is selected by LN in the Employees - People (bpmdm0101m000) session.

Name

The employee name.

E-mail

The email address of the organizer of the meeting. This ID is also used for the synchronization with Outlook.

Include Sold-to Contact as Appointment Attendee

If this check box is selected, the Sold-to-Contact is added as the meeting attendee.

Note: This field is enabled only if you select the Create CRM Appointments for Service Assignments check box.
Update Service Assignments with CRM Appointment Dates

If this check box is selected, the service assignments are updated with the modified CRM appointment dates.

Create CRM Appointments for Project Assignments

If this check box is selected, the synchronization between project assignments and CRM appointments is enabled. The CRM appointments are created and updated with resource assignment data, in Projects.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if the Use Assignments check box is selected in the Project Planning Parameters (tppss0100s000) session.
  • When this check box is selected, an Activity of the type Appointment is created in the Activities (tccom6100m000) session, for each project assignment in the Assignments (tpptc2170m000) session.
Organizer of CRM Appointments

The employee code of the meeting organizer.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if you select the Create CRM Appointments for Project Assignments check box.
  • For the employee specified in this field the Create CRM Appointments for Assignments checkbox is selected by LN in the Employees - People (bpmdm0101m000) session.
E-mail

The email address of the organizer of the meeting.

Inspection Order Assignments

If this check box is selected, CRM assignments can be created for inspection order lines.

Non-Conformance Report Assignments

If this check box is selected, CRM assignments can be created for NCRs.

Corrective Action Plan Assignments

If this check box is selected, CRM assignments can be created for CAP tasks.

Organizer of CRM Appointments

The user on whose name the appointments are created in CRM.

E-mail

The e-mail id of the user.

If this check box is selected, you can plan the work order activities in the Resource Management Workbench (tssoc8351m000) session.

  • The Depot Repair check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
Planning of Planned Activities allowed

If this check box is selected, you can plan the planned activities in the Resource Management Workbench (tssoc8351m000) session.

Note: 

This check box is visible only if:

  • The Preventive Maintenance check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
Planning of Project Activities allowed

If this check box is selected, you can plan the project activities in the Resource Management Workbench (tssoc8351m000) session.

Planning of Job Shop Order Operations allowed

If this check box is selected, you can plan the job shop operations in the Resource Management Workbench (tssoc8351m000) session.

Planning of Project (PCS) Activities allowed

If this check box is selected, you can plan the project (PCS) activities in the Resource Management Workbench (tssoc8351m000) session.
