Closing Methods (tcmcs2105m000)
Use this session to define closing methods.
The number of Closing Types that you define determines the frequency of the generation of monthly billing invoices. If the closing type is Days, you must enter a date in the Day of Month field.
Example
To generate monthly billing invoices only at month's end, select End of Month in the Closing Type 1 field. LN sets the Closing Type 2 and the Closing Type 3 fields to Not Applicable.
To generate one monthly billing invoice halfway through the month and one at month's end, select Days in the Closing Type 1 field and enter 15 in the Day of Month field. Next, select End of Month in the Closing Type 2 field. LN sets the Closing Type 3 field to Not Applicable.
For invoice-to business partners to which you send monthly billing invoices, you must select a closing method in the Invoice-to Business Partner (tccom4112s000) session.

- Closing Type 1

The way to specify the generation date for the monthly billing invoice.
End of Month means, the last day of the month. If you select Days, you must enter a date in the Day of Month field.

If the Closing Type 1 field is Days, this field contains the day of the month which is the cutoff date for the generation of the monthly billing invoice.
- Closing Type 2

The way to specify the second generation date for the monthly billing invoice.
End of Month means, the last day of the month. If you select Days, you must enter a date in the Day of Month field.
If you select End of Month in the Closing Type 1 field, LN sets this field to Not Applicable.

If the Closing Type 2 field is Days, this field contains the day of the month which is the cutoff date for the generation of the monthly billing invoice.
