Discount Codes (tcmcs0121m000)
Use this session to maintain discount codes. You can use discount codes to indicate why a discount was granted. For example, you can grant a discount because the customer orders large quantities, or because the sold items are of an older type, or for many other reasons.
You can enter the discount code if you grant a discount, for example, on an order line in the Sales Order Lines (tdsls4101m000) session.

The type of discount. This enables you to print reports of the amounts of discount by type later.
Note: After saving the discount code you cannot change this field. - Use in Agreement

If this check box is selected, the discount can only be linked to:
- Price agreements
- Discount agreements
- Commission agreements
- Rebate agreements
You cannot link the discount to order lines manually.
If this check box is cleared, you can manually link the discount to an order. You cannot link the discount to:
- Price agreements
- Discount agreements
- Commission agreements
- Rebate agreements
After saving the discount code you cannot change the selection of this check box.
