Item Engineering Revisions (tcibd0150m000)
Use this session to view and maintain the new revisions data for the engineering item.
Note: This session can be accessed only if:
- The Engineering Revisions check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Originating App field is set to these
values in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session:
- IBD
- PLM (Internal)
- PLM (external)

- Item
- The code of the item for which the revision
data must be defined.Note: This field is applicable only if the Revision Controlled check box is selected for the item in the Item (tcibd0501m100) session.
- Revision Data in IBD
- If a check mark is displayed, the revision data of the item is controlled by IBD. Otherwise it is controlled by EDM.
- Revision
- The revision number of the engineering item.Note:
- The first revision of the item is set to 00001 if the Revision Numbering field is set to Fixed in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session and the other revisions are updated in sequence.
- This field is blank if the Revision Numbering field is set to Free in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session.
- Effective Date
- The date and time from which the revision of the engineering item is valid.
- Expiry Date
- The date and time up to which the revision of the engineering item is valid.
- Status
- The status of the engineering item revision.
Allowed values
- New
- Approved
- Blocked
- Created By
- The logon code of the user who created the item engineering revision.
- The name of the user who created the item engineering revision.
- Created On
- The date and time on which the revision is created for the engineering item.
- Text
- If a check mark is displayed, a text related to the engineering item revision exists.
- Approved On
- The date and time on which the revision for the
engineering item is approved.Note: This value is updated with the current date when the Status field is updated to Approved.
- Approved By
- The logon code of the user who
approved the item engineering revision.Note: This value is updated with the logon code of the current user when the Status field is updated to Approved.
- The name of the user who approved the item engineering revision.
- Blocked On
- The date and time on which the engineering item is
blocked for revision.Note: This value is updated with the current date when the Status field is updated to Blocked.
- Blocked By
- The logon code of the user who blocks
the item engineering revision.Note: This value is updated with the logon code of the current user when the Status field is updated to Blocked.
- The name of the user who blocked the item engineering revision.
- Source
- The source of the item engineering revision.

Note: The PLM (Internal) and PLM (External) options are applicable only if the Product Lifecycle Management (PD) check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session. - Source Revision
- The revision number of the source item engineering revision.
- Text
- If a check mark is displayed, a text for the item
engineering revision exists.Note: LN allow you to add the text for the item engineering revision only if the Status field is set to New.
- Source Item
- The source engineering item for which the revision is defined.
- Source Engineering Change Order
- The change order associated with the source of the item engineering revision.
