Manual Parameter Selection (tcemm0510m000)

Use this session to view the selected topics and the new values for the related parameters.

In a multicompany structure, you can enter a range of companies in which the parameters must be set. If the companies share the tables that contain the parameters, LN ensures that the parameters are processed correctly.

On the Topics tab, LN displays the topics that you selected using the Parameter Wizard. You can select and deselect topics.

On the Parameters tab, LN displays the parameters that are linked to the topics, and the value that each parameter will have after the process. You can change the selection of the parameters as well as the parameter values.

If you did not select any options or topics before you finished the wizard, this session displays all the parameters that exist for the current aspect and that are linked to topics.

Field Information

Company: The From and To fields define a range of: financial companies in which the parameters will be set.
Topic: A topic you selected using the Parameter Wizard.
Topic: The description or name of the code.
Parameter: If this check box is selected, the parameters will be set to its new value. If you wish, you can clear the check box.
Parameter: A parameter you selected using the Parameter Wizard.
Parameter: The description of the parameter as defined in the Table Definitions (ttadv4520m100) session.
Field Name: The internal name of the parameter. The name consists of the package code, the module code, the table number, and the actual field name.
Set to Value: The value to which LN will set the parameter if you click Initialize Parameters on the appropriate menu. If you wish, you can change the value.
Old Value: The current value of the parameter.
