CI Conversion Tables by Cluster Companies (tccri7125m000)

Use this session to to generate data for each company in a cluster. This session displays all CI tables of the CI Tables (tccri7522m000) session.

Tables are listed if the following applies:

  • CI table has conversion by DLL.
  • CI table has CI fields defined.

(The table is only listed for the physical company.)

To generate the data in this session, on the appropriate menu, select Update CI Conversion Tables by Cluster Companies.

After you have generated the data, tables such as Integration Transactions (tfgld482) and Reconciliation Data (tfgld495), can be split. For this purpose, on the appropriate menu, select Wizard Split Table by Conditions.

Field Information

Conversion Cluster

The cluster that will be converted using parallel processing.

Company

The company in the cluster. You must generate data for each company in the cluster.

Package

The LN package code.

Module

The LN module code.

Table

The table code.

Conversion

The conversion type.

Conversion Phase

The phase in which a table is converted.

This field can have the following values:

  • Pre

A conversion by DLL. The DLL is executed before all other conversion actions are performed for the given company.
  • Main

A conversion by DLL, or standard table conversion.
  • Post

A conversion by DLL. The DLL is executed after all other conversion actions are performed for the given company.
Table Sequence

The sequence number assigned to the table if the table is converted using specific ranges in the Condition 1 field.

Priority

The conversion priority for the table. A low number indicates a high priority. The priority is copied from the CI tables.

Condition 1

The range condition that allows splitting the conversion of the given table. For each table sequence a parallel process can execute the conversion rules.

Condition 2

An additional condition that can be applied during a table conversion. An additional condition can be required if, for example, a conversion task must process rows that belong to a given set of (financial) company numbers.

Split Table by Conditions is allowed

If this check box is selected, the table can be converted by splitting the table for parallel processing. This applies to table conversions using standard rules.

Status

The status gives information about the conversion.

This field can have the following values:

  • Free
  • In Process
  • Error
  • Ready
Conversion Weight

conversion weight

A formula estimates the size of the conversion by calculating the following:

  • Number of records in the table (or range)
  • Number of fields to be converted in the table
  • Conversion by DLL
Note: If the task appears to be larger than the default conversion weight indicated, you can manually change the conversion weight.
Update Group

If applicable, the number of updates into which the table conversion is split. Data conversion that requires calculations, will be grouped in update group '0' (zero). Data conversions without calculations will be grouped, so that the same type of operation can be handled with one update directly through the RDBMS.

Example

In financial company 1 the local currency changes. This requires calculation of the local amounts. In financial company 2, 3, and 4 reporting currencies are removed. Data of financial companies 2, 3 and 4 will be changed with an update directly through the RDBMS. This conversion will be done in update group 1.

Mass Updates

If this check box is selected, table data will be updated directly through the RDBMS.
