ZIP Codes/Postal Codes (tccom4136s000)

Use this session to maintain default addresses by ZIP/postal code and by country.

You can also use the ZIP/postal code to indicate in which areas transactions are risky due to geography, politics, and so on. This information is linked to the business partners by means of the business partner's address.

If you defined a ZIP code or postal code mask in the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session, LN checks the ZIP code against the mask.

In addition, the ZIP code length must at least be equal to the ZIP Code Base defined for the country in the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session. For example, if the ZIP code base is 3, the ZIP code must be three or more characters.

Street

The physical address (street name) of this ZIP/postal code. If you are defining the ZIP/postal codes of a range of post office boxes, enter, for example, P. O. Box.

Part two or any other additional text of the Street field.

Search Key

First Number

The lowest house number or post-office box number that has this ZIP/postal code.

Last Number

The highest house number or post-office box number that has this ZIP/postal code.

City 2

Part two or any other additional text of the city name.

Odd/Even ZIP Code Indicator

Indicates whether the ZIP/postal code includes odd, even, or all house numbers.

If all house numbers are included, or if the ZIP/postal code is of a range of post-office boxes, you can select Not Applicable.

Doubtful ZIP Code Indicator

Select this check box to indicate that there can be risks when doing business with business partners whose addresses have this ZIP/postal code.

Possible reasons are, for example, natural disasters or political instability in a specific area.
