Note: The time span depends on the period table code defined in the People Parameters (bpmdm0100m000) session.

The employment hours amount is used in the following sessions in the Hours and Expenses module:

  • Hours accounting sessions

In these sessions you can maintain hours for the employee. If the employee's number of regular hours entered for a specific period exceeds the value in the Employment field, LN displays a warning message.

  • Global (Undo) Approve Hours and Expenses (bptmm1202m000)

If the Hours Check (Regular Time) check box is selected, LN compares the hours for that period with the value entered in the Employment field. If the values do not match, LN generates an error report.
