In Preparation (tccom0234m000)

Use this session to set the Resources by Site concept In Preparation.

When the Resources by Site concept is set to In Preparation, site and planning cluster data is updated. If required, you can select the Simulate check box to run the update process in simulation mode before launching the actual update process.

Field Information

Simulate

If this check box is selected, a preview of the generated data is displayed in a report without storing the data in the database.

In the preview, this information displayed:

  • The planning clusters that are to be defined as customer sites.
  • The sites that are to be defined as customer sites.
  • The sites that are to be defined as subcontractor sites.
  • The business partner fields that are to be corrected for sites.

  • The sites for which the update failed for one or more of these reasons:

    • Missing subcontractor
    • Missing customer
    • Multiple subcontractors
Process Report

If this check box is selected, a report is printed that displays the data that is generated or updated.

If any errors occur during the process, an error report is printed regardless of the setting of this check box.
