Generate Periods (tcccp0270m000)

Use this session to generate periods for one year for a period table.

You can generate weekly or monthly periods depending on the settings of the Duration fields. These periods are then available in the Periods (tcccp0170m000) session.

Note: If you selected the Calendar Year check box for the period table in the Period Tables (tcccp0160m000) session, you must enter a start date and an end date that are within the year that you entered in the Year field.

If you cleared the Gaps Allowed between Years check box for the period table in the Period Tables (tcccp0160m000) session, you must ensure that there are no gaps between the periods already generated for a previous year and the periods to be generated.

The first period and the last period generated can have different lengths. For example, if the first of January is on a Tuesday, the first week period of the year is five days and the last week period of the previous year is two days.
