Defining EUS item lines

When an EUS is applicable for multiple items, you can use the End User Statement Item Lines (tcgtc3102m000) session to create item lines for each item that must be linked to the EUS.
Note: You can link only the item for which the Subject to Trade Compliance check box is selected in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session.

In the End User Statement Item Lines (tcgtc3102m000) session, you can specify:

Item

You can specify the item or the item description. The effectivity unit of the item can also be specified. The item, item and effectivity unit combination or an item description, must be unique for each item line linked to the EUS.

Quantity and Unit

You must specify the quantity and the unit of the item that is sold for the EUS.

Screening Code

You can set this value to indicate the response of the government agency if the item can be sold or not. If a response is not received, by default, the Screening Code is set to License Required.
Note:
  • An item line can be created manually and is updated when a license is linked. The item line is updated only if the changes to the item line data do not contradict with the license data (for example, item or effectivity unit).
  • The item line can be deleted when a document is linked to the EUS, also when the item line is used for the document line. There is no hard relation between the item line and the linked document. Consequence of the item line delete is that the next time the compliance check is executed for the document line, the check results in a failure as no valid EUS is found.
