Subcontractor

A subcontractor can initiate changes in the data using the Post Onboarding process. The Profile section in the portal displays the list of business partners that are mapped to an external entity for whom the changes can be updated. The subcontractor can view the details by selecting a business partner. The information such as address, contact, company information, documents, and tax details can be updated by the subcontractors. The subcontractors can perform actions such as:

  • Edit: Use this option to modify existing details.
    Note: You can add a new address, contact or tax registration using the Add new address, Add new primary contact or Registration options respectively.
  • Save: Use this option to save the updated information.
  • Submit: Use this option to submit the updated information.
  • Undo: Use this option to revert the unsaved changes.
  • Attach: Use this option to attach mandatory documents.
  • Cancel: Use this option to cancel the change request in case of any discrepancies.
  • Submit All: Use this option to submit all the change request at once.
  • Preview: Use this option to display the list of changes ready for submission. This option is displayed when the Submit All option is clicked.
    Note: The subcontractor can submit the changes only after the mandatory documents are attached.

If the permissions are specified in the Post Onboarding Controls (tcclb0199m000) session, the profile with the updated information is sent to the contractor for approval. In case a profile is set to Incomplete, the subcontractor can re-submit the profile after incorporating the changes specified by the contractor.

The modified information is displayed in the Buy-from Business Partner Documents (tcbcm1105m000) session and the tax-related modifications are displayed in the Registrations by Business Partner (tctax4102m000), and Tax Numbers by Business Partner (tctax4100m000), Fiscal IDs by Business Partner (tctax4101m000) sessions.
