Retro billing for Sales and Purchase Contracts

To enable the Retro Billing functionality in Sales and Procurement:

  • The Retro-Billing check box must be selected in the Sales Order Parameters (tdsls0100s400) session.
  • The Retro-Billing check box must be selected in the Procurement Parameters (tdpur0100m000) session.

You can create retro-billing for:

  • Sales and purchase orders linked to contracts
  • Sales and purchase schedules

Retro-billing functionality is applicable for closed orders only when actual history is logged, so that reopening a closed order is possible. This is applicable only for price or discount changes on the sales or purchase contracts and for manual retro billing.

Retro-billing for sales and purchase orders is possible only if:

  • The Log Actual Order Delivery History check box is selected in the Sales Order Parameters (tdsls0100s400) session.
  • The Log Actual Order Receipt History check box is selected in the Purchase Order Parameters (tdpur0100m400) session.
  • The Reopen Closed Purchase Orders Allowed check box is selected in the Purchase Order Parameters (tdpur0100m400) session.
  • The Reopen Closed Sales Orders Allowed check box is selected in the Sales Order Parameters (tdsls0100s400) session.
  • The Log Using Documents check box is selected in the Pricing Parameters (tdpcg0100m000) session
Note: For sales orders, a retro-active invoice line is generated for the original sales document only if the Update Original Sales Document check box is selected in the Sales Parameters (tdsls0100s000) session.

Retro billing for sales and purchase schedules is possible only if:

  • The Log Actual Schedule Receipt History check box is selected in the Purchase Schedule Parameters (tdpur0100m500) session.
  • The Log Actual Schedule Delivery History check box is selected in the Sales Schedule Parameters (tdsls0100s500) session.
  • The Log Using Documents check box is selected in the Pricing Parameters (tdpcg0100m000) session.
