Sampling Rules (qmptc0160m000)

Use this session to define sampling rule that are used for a standard test procedure.

Field Information

Sampling Rule

The unique code of the sampling rule.

Sampling Rule
General
Sampling Plan

The unique code of the sampling plan.

Inspection Standard

The unique code of the inspection standard.

Code Letter Table

The unique code of the code letter table.

Inspection Level

The inspection level that must be executed.

AQL Switching

The method in which the acceptable quality level switching is implemented.

Allowed values

Order
Characteristic

Inspection by Characteristic Classification
If this check box is selected, the inspection order is created based on the classification of the characteristics.
Note: This check box is enabled only if:
  • The check box is selected in the Quality Management Parameters (qmptc0100m000) session.
  • The value of the AQL Switching field is set to Characteristic.
Skip Lot

If this check box is selected, only a part of the submitted lot is to be inspected.

Skip Frequency

The number of lots (or batches) that can be skipped for inspection.

Order Based Switching Rule
Order
Order AQL

The acceptable quality level linked to the sampling rule.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Accepted Consecutive Inspection Orders decreased Inspection

The number of accepted batches that are required for switching to a lesser inspection procedure. When goods are supplied with steady quality, a switch can be made to a less severe inspection process.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Switch To

The code of the sampling rule used for a less severe inspection process.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Rejected Consecutive Inspection Orders

The number of consecutive rejected batches that must be checked to trigger a more severe inspection process.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Rejected Inspection Orders needed for increased Inspection

The number of rejected batches that trigger the shift to a more severe inspection process.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Within

The number of most recent, consecutive batches that must be checked to more severe inspection process.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Switch To

The sampling rule to be used for a more severe inspection process.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Order.
Characteristics Based Switching Rule
Critical Characteristic
Critical Characteristic AQL

The acceptable quality level defined for a characteristic with Defect Type set to Critical in the Standard Test Procedure (qmptc0110m100) session.

Note: This field is available only if the AQL Switching field is set to Characteristic.
Accepted Consecutive Inspection Orders decreased Inspection

The number of accepted batches that are required for switching to a lesser inspection procedure. When goods are supplied with steady quality, a switch can be made to a less severe inspection process.
