Authorizing an item for a project

You can use theAuthorize to Project (pdadm1101m200)session to authorize an item to a project. When an item is authorized to a project, users of the project can also access the item.

  1. Select PLM Data Management > Item Management > PLM Items. The PLM Items (pdpdm1500m000) session is displayed.
  2. Select the required item.
  3. Click the Authorize to Project option from the Actions menu. TheExport/Import session for Item BOM (pdpdm1101m200) session is displayed.
  4. Select the required project.
  5. Click Authorize to Project from the Actions menu. Users of the project can also access the item.
