Freeze Generation

You can use this option to freeze the Generation data of a PLM Object. When an object is frozen, you cannot make changes to the object data.

When you create or freeze a Generation, a snapshot of the object and its related links is captured.

Note: An user with Administrator role can make changes to an object even if the object is not undergoing generation change.
