Changing the Owning project

You can change the owner project of an item. When you change the owning project of an item, users of the new project have unrestricted access to the item, whereas the users in the current projects have limited access to the item.

  1. Select PLM Data Management > Item Management > PLM Items. The PLM Items (pdpdm1500m000) session is displayed.
  2. Select the required item.
  3. Click the Change Owning Project option from the Actions menu. The Change Owning Project (pdpdm1101m300) session is displayed.
  4. Select the required project.
  5. Select the Linked Objects check box to link the objects to the modified project.
  6. Click Change Owning Project from the Actions menu. The (Owning) project of the item is modified.
