Step Types

These step types are available depending on the system parameters defined by the administrator for the organization:

Step Type	Description
Check in	Check in an object
Check out (major or minor)	Check out an object
Send to Production	Send to Production Modify (Perform Modification)
System	Performs an operating system command, such as launching an ex-ternal application.
Distribution	Enables e-mail notification of PLM users and the external users. The e-mail message includes metadata of attached objects.
