Default Data Management

A template is used to create default data for the object. The template populates default data to save time and ensure consistency. For each object, you can set one of the templates as the preferred template. This template is automatically selected when you create a new object.

A template can be updated or deleted by the Project Administrator or the General Administrator. You can select an appropriate template, modify the values, and save the template.

You can also copy the existing template and modify the attribute value based on the requirement.

You can create templates for these objects:

  • Item
  • BOM
  • Document
  • Folder
  • File
  • Business Process
