Planning Log (fmlbd0530m000)

Use this session to view additional information about the current load plan.

If the Detailed Planning Log check box is selected on the Generate Plan (fmlbd0280m000) session or the Generate Plan (fmlbd0282m000) session, messages are generated about the main steps involved in creating the load plan. These messages provide information on how these steps were carried out, what information was used, and so on.

The following information is provided by the planning log messages:

  • Details about the selection range and parameters used for the plan.
  • Progress information about the creation process of the load plan as indicated on the Progress Indicator, such as Creating Trips and Stops, Create Loads and Shipments, and so on.
  • The following messages about carrier and transport means group selection:
    • No Carrier or Transport Means Group is available for the Shipping Office and Planning Group.
    • System is looking for a specific Transport Type, Combination Code of the Transport Means Group.
    • System is only looking for a specific binding Carrier.
    • A Transport Means Group is not able to reach the destination in time.
  • Route plan selection.
  • Standard route selection.
  • Transport means group capacity:
    • Transport Means Group is not large enough to transport one unit. This means, that the vehicles of the selected transport means group have insufficient loading capacity to carry one packaging unit, such as pallet, of the item to be transported.
    • Shipment cannot be split over several loads.
  • Means of transport:
    • Means of transport exists for the transport means group but could not be assigned to a load (distance between loading addresses is too long).
  • Freight costs:
    • Rates cannot be found for specific attributes (Service level, Rate Unit, etc.)
