Zones by Distance (fmfrc1140m000)
Use this session to view and maintain zones by distance. Zones by distance are linked to freight rates with the distance rating method, which are defined in Pricing. When you define a freight rate book with the distance rating method in the Freight Rate Books (tdpcg0150m000) session and you enter a distance, the corresponding zone by distance defined in the current session is linked to the freight rate book.
Example
In the current session you define the following zone:

In the Freight Rate Books (tdpcg0150m000) session, if you define a freight rate book instance for carrier Speedex and distance 100 km, zone 01s is allocated to the freight rate book instance.

- Zone Type

The Zone Type determines the type of zone information of which the zone is made up.
- Carrier/LSP

The carrier for the current Zone by Distance.
The zones you define for the current carrier and distances will be linked to freight rate books defined for the same distances and carriers in the Freight Rate Books (tdpcg0150m000) session.

The distance of the current zone, which is expressed by the default distance unit defined in the Freight Master Data Parameters (fmfmd0100m000) session.
