Freight Order Cluster Lines (fmfoc3101m000)

Use this session to view and maintain freight order cluster lines. A freight order cluster line is the identification of a freight order line that is allocated to the cluster.

Note: Use the Maps section to view the location of the Ship-from Address and the Ship-to Address. You must select only one record at a time.

Field Information

Freight Order Line Text

The text in this field originates from the freight order line related to the current freight order cluster line. You can add text or edit this text, for example, to add some information about the cluster line.

Planned Quantity

The quantity of the item on the cluster line that must be transported. The planned quantity is taken from the quantity listed on the freight order line corresponding to the cluster line. This quantity can differ from the quantity that is actually shipped.

Shipped Quantity

The quantity of the item on the cluster line that is shipped. The shipped quantity can differ from the planned quantity for various reasons, for example, insufficient loading capacity of the vehicles that picked up the goods, damage during loading, transport, unloading, and so on. If the cluster line is not linked to Warehousing , you can enter the shipped quantity when this figure is known from the carrier. If the line is linked to Warehousing , the shipped quantity is updated by Warehousing .

Planned Freight Value

The value of the goods before transportation is carried out. The value in this field is derived from the shipped quantity.

Currency

The currency in which the Planned Freight Value is expressed.

Shipped Freight Value

The value of the goods after transportation has started. The value in this field is updated from the carrier invoice amount in Financials .

Estimated Freight Cost

The freight costs calculated during the freight order clustering process or the load building process, if the freight order line is planned using the load building functionality. If required, you can enter a different amount. If the carrier invoice has been matched in Financials , the estimated costs cannot be changed. The actual freight costs from the carrier invoice can differ from this amount.

Actual Freight Cost

Recalculate for Invoice Amount

If this check box is selected, you are advised to recalculate the freight cost amount on account of partial deliveries or over-deliveries.

Actual Cost Final

If invoicing is based on a carrier invoice, this check box is selected automatically when the invoice from the carrier is matched and approved in Financials for the cluster line.

If invoicing is not based on a carrier invoice, this check box is selected when the estimated costs for the cluster to which the freight order line belongs is made actual and final.

Weight

The weight of the goods listed on the cluster line before transportation takes place.

Weight Unit

The unit in which the weight is expressed. The default measuring units used in Freight are defined in the Freight Master Data Parameters (fmfmd0100m000) session.

Volume

The volume of the goods listed on the cluster line before transportation takes place.

Volume Unit

The unit in which the volume is expressed. The default measuring units used in Freight are defined in the Freight Master Data Parameters (fmfmd0100m000) session.

Floor Space

The surface area of the goods listed on the cluster line before transportation takes place.

Floor Space Unit

The unit in which the surface area is expressed. The default measuring units used in Freight are defined in the Freight Master Data Parameters (fmfmd0100m000) session.

Pieces

The piece unit quantity of the goods listed on the cluster line before transportation takes place.

Shipped Weight

The weight of the goods listed on the cluster line after the goods are shipped.

Shipped Volume

The volume of the goods listed on the cluster line after the goods are shipped.

Shipped Floor Space

The surface area of the goods listed on the cluster line after the goods are shipped.

Shipped Pieces

The piece unit quantity of the goods listed on the cluster line after the goods are shipped.

Delivered Weight

The weight of the goods listed on the cluster line that have actually been delivered.

Delivered Volume

The volume of the goods listed on the cluster line that have actually been delivered.

Delivered Floor Space

The piece unit for the item. The piece unit is taken from the related freight order line.

BOM Quantity

The quantity of the component item required for manufacturing the main item.

BOM Quantity

The unit in which the BOM Quantity is expressed.

Planned Quantity

The planned quantity of the main item to which the current component item belongs. If the current item is not a BOM item, this field is empty.

The shipped quantity of the main item to which the current component item belongs. If the current item is not a BOM item, this field is empty.

Delivered Quantity

The quantity that has been unloaded at the destination address. This quantity can differ from the planned quantity and/or the shipped quantity for various reasons, for example, insufficient loading capacity of the vehicles that picked up the goods, damage during loading, transport, or unloading, and so on. You can enter the delivered quantity figure when the carrier has provided you with this information. For inbound goods transports, this information is updated by Warehousing when the goods are received in the warehouse, provided that the cluster line is linked to Warehousing .

Damaged Quantity

The quantity that was damaged during loading, transport, or unloading. You can enter the damaged quantity figure after the damage has been assessed.

Reason for Damage

The reason code indicating the cause of the damage.

Description

The description of the reason code that indicates the cause of the damage.

Load Date

The planned load date of the cluster line. This date is derived from the freight order related to the cluster line. You can manually change this date, for example, if the planned dates from the carrier are known.

Unload Date

The planned unload date of the cluster line. This date is taken from the freight order related to the cluster line. You can manually change this date, for example, if the planned dates from the carrier are known.

Actual Load Date

The date the cluster line is actually loaded. You can enter the actual load date when the definite load date is known from the carrier.

Actual Unload Date

The date the cluster line is actually unloaded. You can enter the actual unload date when the definite unload date is known from the carrier.

Planned Load Date Order

The planned load date of the freight order related to the cluster line.

Planned Unload Date Order

The planned unload date of the freight order related to the cluster line.

Freight Order Line

The freight order number of the freight order line that corresponds to the cluster line.

Freight Order Line

The line number of the freight order line corresponding to the cluster line.

Item

The item that must be subcontracted. The item is taken from the freight order line corresponding to the cluster line.

Cost Item

The cost item used to allocate additional costs to the freight order cluster.

Main Item

The main item that must be transported.

Component

A component of the main item that must be transported.

Item

The item that must be transported.

Inventory Handling

In Warehousing , items are processed by component or by main item. If the value in this field is By Component, the order from which the current cluster line is derived is processed by component.

Origin

The origin refers of the type of order of the originating order of the freight order line related to the current cluster line.

Originating Order

The identification code of the originating order of the freight order line related to the current cluster line.

Reference

A free text field, in which you can enter a descriptive text or code. Default texts are taken from the related freight order line. Entries in this field are not unique.

Text

If this check box is selected, some additional information about the freight order line and/or the cluster line is available. This information is displayed in the Freight Order Line Text field, which you can find on the Text tab of the current session.

Status

The status of the freight order line related to the current cluster line.

Cost Line

If this check box is selected, the current cluster line is an additional cost line. If additional costs must be paid for the goods listed on a cluster line, an additional cost set is linked to the cluster line. To link this additional cost set, ERP creates a new cluster line in which the additional cost set is stored. The new cluster line, called additional cost line, is then linked to the cluster that lists the goods for which the additional costs must be paid.

Cluster

The identification code of the freight order cluster to which the current cluster line is linked.

Cluster Status

The status of the freight order cluster to which the current cluster line is linked.

Cluster Changed

This check box is selected automatically for clusters with the Actual status if LN makes at least one of the following changes to the cluster:

  • At least one cluster line has been removed from the cluster.
  • Changes such as planned quantities, which do not affect the cluster header, have been made to one or more of the freight order lines related to the cluster lines.

Shipping Office

The shipping office of the cluster to which the cluster line belongs. The shipping office of a cluster is the shipping office related to the freight orders of the freight order lines included in the cluster. All freight order lines grouped into a cluster must be related to the same shipping office.

Planning Group

The planning group of the freight order lines included in the cluster. All freight order lines grouped into a cluster must have the same planning group.

Carrier/LSP

The carrier to whom the goods of the current cluster must be subcontracted. The value in this field is taken from the value of the Carrier/LSP field in the Freight Order Clusters (fmfoc3100m000) session.

The description of the Carrier/LSP.

Ship-from Type

The type of location or organization from which the goods listed on the cluster lines of the current freight order cluster originate.

Ship-from Code

The identification code of the ship-from location or organization.

Ship-from Company

The code of the company from where the goods are shipped.

Ship-from Site

The code of the site from where the goods are shipped.

The address code of the ship-from location or organization.

Ship-From Address

The address description of the ship-from location or organization.

Originating Warehouse

The warehouse from which the goods listed on the freight order line are shipped.

Earliest Load Date

The earliest date and time on which loading can take place at the ship-from location. This date is the minimum date of all freight orders related to the cluster lines of the current cluster.

Latest Load Date

The latest date and time on which loading can take place at the ship-from location. This date is the maximum date of the freight orders related to the cluster lines of the current cluster.

Ship-to Type

The type of location or organization for which the goods listed on the cluster lines of the current freight order cluster are destined. This is the location or organization where the goods are unloaded.

Ship-to Code

The identification code of the ship-to location or organization.

Ship-to Company

The code of the company to which the goods are shipped.

Ship-to Site

The code of the site to which the goods are shipped.

Ship-To Description

The name of the ship-to location or organization.

Ship-To Address Description

The address description of the ship-to location or organization.

Earliest Unload Date

The earliest date and time on which unloading can take place at the ship-to location. This date is the minimum date of the freight orders related to the cluster lines of the current cluster.

Latest Unload Date

The latest date and time on which unloading can take place at the ship-to location. This date is the latest unload date of all freight orders related to the cluster lines of the current cluster.

BOM Line

The sequence number of the component item in the bill of material (BOM) structure. BOM lines are added if the item on the order line is an item with inventory handling by component; and if the status of the related cluster is Actual.

Committed Quantity

The quantity of the related freight order line for whose quantity an inventory commitment is created.
