Generate Freight Orders (fmfoc1234m000)

Use this session to generate freight orders from orders of other types.

To generate freight orders, proceed as follows:

Select an order origin. As a result, the selection fields for this origin are enabled. For example, if you want to generate freight orders from sales orders, select Sales, and the related Sales selection fields are enabled.
Fill in the required selection fields.
Click Generate.

Note: If the Generate Freight Order during MRP Run check box is selected in the Planning Parameters (cprpd0100m000) session, the Enterprise Planning option is not available in the Order Origin field.

Field Information

Order Origin

The origin of the orders from which you want to generate freight orders. If you select an order origin, the selection fields for this origin are enabled. For example, if you want to generate freight orders from sales orders, select Sales, and the related Sales selection fields are enabled.

Select the Warehousing origin if you want to generate freight orders for warehouse orders even though the Generate Freight Order from Warehousing check box is cleared for these warehousing orders.

Select Enterprise Planning to create freight orders for planned distribution orders, even though the Generate Freight Order during MRP Run check box in the Planning Parameters (cprpd0100m000) session is cleared. Note, however, that to create freight orders for planned distribution orders, a supplying relationship must be in place for the item. For further information, see Supplying Relationships (cprpd7130m000).

Order Origin

The order origin of the warehousing orders for which you want to generate freight orders.

Print

Error Report: If this check box is selected, an Error Report is created if errors occurred during the freight order generation-process.
Success Report: If this check box is selected, a Success Report report is displayed if the freight order generation-process was carried out successfully. The Success Report report shows the freight orders that are created from the selected range of originating orders.

Options

Print to predefined Device: If this check box is selected, LN selects the default device defined for the user profile to print the report.

Note: By default this field is checked by LN.
