Application Errors (ecedi2191m000)
Use this session to maintain application errors that can occur during the processing of an incoming EDI shipment notice. Application errors are used when you:
- Define conversion data in the Codes and Conversions business object.
- Process EDI messages in the Communications business object.

Application error codes represent a type of error that can occur when a field is
processed on an incoming EDI message. This error code can be linked to a
ERP application field, to a field identifier, and to a description that
describes the application error code.
If an error occurs while an incoming EDI shipment notice is processed for one of
the defined reference fields, the application error code and field identifier
are stored. This information can be referenced on outgoing
EDI error-notification messages.
