Work Load Control Performance Indicators (cpwlc2520m000)

Use this session to analyze the performance of a combination of scenario and plan level for both forward planning and backward planning.

To view the workload control performance parameters:

  • Click the Find Record icon.
  • Select the appropriate combination of scenario, plan level and plan unit.
  • Click OK.

Each time the workload control planning method simulates a plan unit, LN updateds the workload-control performance indicators.

On the View menu, you can select the following options to display the workload control parameters:

  • Plan Code, Plan Level, Plan Unit.
  • Plan Unit, Plan Code, Plan Level.

You can select infinite planning or workload control as a planning method in the Master Planning Method field of the Plan Unit (cprpd6100m000) session.

Field Information

Scenario

The scenario for which LN displays the workload control parameters.

Plan Level

The plan level for which LN displays the workload control parameters.

Plan Unit

The plan unit for which LN displays the workload control parameters.

Average Volume/Value Moved

The total moved volume or value in the backward planning divided by the number of moved production volumes.

Average Number of Periods Moved

The average number of periods a production volume was moved in the backward planning.

This is the total number of moved periods divided by the number of moved production volumes. No Help topic is associated with this item.

Total Volume/Value Moved

The total volume or value in the backward planning that has moved to another than the original period. This is the total volume or value that could not be planned according to the ideal plan.

Unplanned Volume/Value

The total volume or value that could not be planned in the backward planning due to capacity constraints or material constraints. If the value of this field is greater than zero, the desired delivery dates cannot be met.

Average Volume/Value Moved

The total moved volume or value in the forward planning divided by the number of moved production volumes.

Average Number of Periods Moved

The average number of periods a production volume was moved in the forward planning.

This is the total number of moved periods divided by the number of moved production volumes. No Help topic is associated with this item.

Total Volume/Value Moved

The total volume or value in the forward planning which has moved to another than the original period.

This is the total volume or value that could not be planned during the preceding backward planning pass.

Unplanned Volume/Value

The total volume or value that could not be planned in the forward planning due to capacity or material constraints.

If the Unplanned Volume/Value field is greater than zero, not all items can be produced within the simulated periods, because of capacity constraints and material constraints.
