Assembly Part Demand (cprrp0116m000)

Use this session to get an overview of the planned demand for assembly parts that Assembly Planning calculates. This demand is the result of the APL planning run.

APL calculates the required item quantity and the date on which it is needed. Enterprise Planning performs the planning for the assembly part items.

To plan, LN takes into account the item data as you defined them in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session, whereas the demand is effective for the corresponding plan item.

Note: 

The number of combinations of an assembly part and use up item defined in the Assembly BOM and Operations (tiapl2120s000) session for each assembly bill of material determines the number of records here and in the Line Station Variant - Assembly Parts (tiasc2121m000) session.

If a part exists multiple times the in the assembly BOMs defined with different use up items, the part will appear multiple times in the Assembly Part Demand (cprrp0116m000) and Line Station Variant - Assembly Parts (tiasc2121m000) sessions.

If no use up item is in stock for the selected assemble BOM, this will result in multiple records for the same assembly part, instead of the one record if no use-up material was defined.

Date

The date on which the assembly part quantity on this line is required.

Item

The assembly part item that is required.

  • If the Use Up Item Used check box is cleared, the item is the original material specified in the assembly bill of material.

  • If the Use Up Item Used check box is selected, the item is the use up material specified in the assembly bill of material.
Use Up Item

Depending on the status of the Use Up Item Used check box this field displays:

  • If this check box is selected, the original item from the assembly bill of material.
  • If this check box is cleared, the use up item as defined in the assembly bill of material.

Use Up Item Used

If this check box is selected, the use up material is used during assembly. If the check box is cleared, the original material specified in the assembly bill of material is used.

Quantity

The quantity of the item required, as calculated by Assembly Planning .

Option List ID

The ID of the option list linked to the assembly.
