Enterprise Planning Workbench

You can use the Enterprise Planning Workbench (cprrp8350m000) to provide a planner an insight into the resource capacity and the stock values. You can view the information related to:

  • The available, actual and planned machine and labor hours of a Resource.
  • The supply forecast for the stock values of the planned items by week/month.
Note: This workbench can be accessed only if:
  • The Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • The user profile is created for the current user in the Production User Profiles (timfc0120m000) session.

Navigation

To access this workbench, select LN Menu > Planning > Resource Planning > Enterprise Planning Workbench. The Enterprise Planning Workbench (cprrp8350m000) is displayed.

  • The Workbench comprises of these sections:
  • Header
    • Selection
    • Capacity Graph
    • Supply Forecast Graph
  • Items grid
  • Item details view

The planner can select the month, week and the display mode (week or month) from the toolbar.

Setting the default values

When you access the Enterprise Planning Workbench for the first time, all fields are empty.

However, if you specify the filter values in the Selection section, and close the workbench, the last specified values are automatically saved and populated when you access the workbench next time.

To save the values manually, you can specify filter values in the Selection section, and click Save Defaults. When you access the workbench next time, the saved values are set. You must use this option to save the specified values, until Clear Defaults is clicked.

You can click Clear Defaults to reset the saved values. When you access the workbench next time, all fields are empty.

These are the available options:

  • Save Defaults: Saves the specified values. These values are displayed when you access this workbench next time.
  • Get Defaults: Populates the values that are saved.
  • Clear Defaults: Clears the saved values.
