Item permissions by department
Permissions at department level can be defined with the help of the By
Department attribute using the Item Permissions (tcsec3635m000) session. Permissions can be granted for a range of departments or for the
department of the employee. After applying the permissions, you can review the active
permissions in the Employee Document Permissions (tcsec2600m000) session.
Permissions By department must be applied to all components that hold or make use of an Item - Department combination:
- Item - Sales
- Item - Purchase
- Item - Service
