Change control for pricing document

The Change Request functionality for pricing documents is implemented to control changes in price books and discount schedules. You can use this functionality to update specific data in the pricing documents (price books and discount schedules), after the initial approval, printing, or activation.

Data Setup

To enable the Change Request functionality, this data setup is required in the Pricing Parameters (tdpcg0100m000) session:

  • Change Request for Pricing Documents: If this check box is selected, modification can be done on a price book and discount schedule using a change request.
  • Series for Price Book Change Request: The default series for price book change requests.
  • Series for Discount Schedule Change Request: The default series for discount schedule change requests.
  • Process Change Requests Automatically: If this check box is selected, change requests are processed automatically after the approval.
