Introduction
The Configuration Data Management tool is used to export and import Tools and Application configuration data from source to destination environments.
The Tools configuration data is outside the scope of this document.
The source and destination environments can be single company or multicompany environments, such as production environments or training environments.
Application configuration data include parameter settings and master data.
Users can specify the configuration data to be exported or imported, or use predefined sets of configuration data.
The user actions required to preserve data integrity and the other prerequisites described in this document apply to both predefined configuration data and configuration data specified by the user.
This document focuses on the import and export of predefined sets of Application configuration data from various LN packages.
