Approved

A day type can only be closed when the status is set to Approved that checks the validity of the day type.

Company

Non-working days specified at company level is applicable to all employees of a company.

Site

Non-working days specified at the site level is applicable to all employees linked to the site. This level is applicable only if Site is implemented.

Employee Group

Non-working days specified at the employee group level is applicable to all employees linked to the employee group.

Note: For example, if the level is set to Employee Group, an employee is associated with the employee group from 1st Jan to 31st Jan, the non-working days specified for the employee group in this time period, are applicable for the employee. The rest of the time period is not considered to calculate the non-working days for the employee.
Employee

Non-working days are specified at the employee level.

Open

The actual attendance can be generated. The lines in the attendance period can be modified.

Locked

The actual attendance cannot be generated. The lines cannot be modified. The status is set to locked only if the End Date is specified in the attendance period.

Approved

The actual attendance cannot be generated. The lines cannot be modified.

Closed

The attendance period lines are sent to a payroll system. The lines cannot be modified.

Employee Group

If the day type is defined at the Employee Group level.

Site/Company

If the day type is defined at the company level. For example, a national holiday/ public holiday can be defined at a site/company level as it is applicable across the site/company.

Basic Shift

The basic shift are the regular working hours. An employee need to be at work during this period.

Punched Break

During the period of the Punched Break, an employee can take a break. The maximum length of the break is defined in the settings. If the break is shorter than the indicated break then the actual time or the break time is calculated when generating actual attendance, or the actual time is used, based on the setting of the time type.

Normal Shift

The Normal shift are normal hours, but there is no obligation for the employee to be at work during this period, like with the Basic shift. But there is no overtime paid in this period.

Flexible Time

This is the period when employees can come to work or leave work according to their own schedule.

Planned Attendance

The planned attendance is the base data for availability and capacity calculations. Planned attendance is used on the calculation of work force capacity.

Posting Time

When a Clock-in or Clock-out transaction is recorded in a period Posting time, then the time is reset to the preset posting time. This can be any time. The original time will also be stored.

To Attendance Type

When you want to link the time type to the attendance type.

To Day Type

When you want to link the time type to the day type.

Auto Break

When the break time is automatically captured by Infor LN.

Normal on Site

This is working time spend at the regular working place.

Time Off Site

This is working time, spend out site the regular working place.

Travel Time

This is time spend during travel.

Standby Time

This is time spend not actual working, but available on standby call.

Absence

This is time, that no attendance has taken place, though this is expected.

Punched Break

This is the time when employee takes a break during work.

Punched

The time is registered using an API or from a file upload.

Manual

The time is registered manually.

System

The time registration is system generated. The time can be registered through the preset lockout time or a processing instruction.
