E-Transport
The e-Transformation legislation and a digital obligation for electronically monitoring goods transportation is initiated in Turkey (E-İrsaliye). This process is used to monitor the movement of goods regularly. Before shipment, an authorization number from the Turkish tax authority must be obtained and printed on transport documents. The previous requirement to print paper document related to each transfer of goods is replaced with an electronic document.
The application integrates the Localization Service Platform (LSP) with the partner solution, such as Intecon DC to connect with government systems. The official document including the authorization number and a QR code is printed using Intecon.
The e-Delivery Note must be issued and sent to the Turkish tax authorities (GIB) prior to the actual shipment of the goods. To send an e-delivery note, both parties must be registered in the system. Else, the delivery note must be printed on paper, or shared on another readable digital form which can be shared.
The file is an XML Document, Localized for Türkiye (UBL-TR based on UBL), which must be signed by a digital signature token provided by the Government.
Configuration of E-Transport integration
To configure the E- Transport integration for Turkish Localization, these configuration steps must be performed, in ION and LSP:
- In ION, the creation of Document Flows in ION for the Shipment BOD communication is mandatory. A filter is implemented for only forwarding the Sync BODs to LSP if a header UserArea property exists for which the attribute name is
ln.LocalizedAuthProcand value TR. - In LSP, the Turkish accounting entity must be configured, in addition to the e-Irsaliye (e-Delivery Note) service and successfully completing the activation.
- A translation mapping for the Unit of measure must be defined in the eTransport translation maintenance settings.
- The shipment status must be set to Staged, should be the only shipment status active in “Shipment status maintenance” settings.
- As a fallback, a default carrier can be optionally specified in Carrier and drivers information and selected in the Default code settings.
