Data setup for E-Transport functionality
- The Localized Authorization Procedure Implemented check box is selected in the Turkish Logistic Parameters (lptur0100m000) session.
- Define the details of the E-Transport data for a shipment in the E-Transport Data by Shipment (lptur0130m000) session.
- Define the details of vehicles and drivers for a carrier or LSP that is used for the transfer of goods in the Vehicles and Drivers by Carrier/LSP (lptur0131m000) session.
- Define the details of the vehicles that are used for transfer of goods in the Vehicles and Drivers by Carrier/LSP (lptur0131m000) session.
- Define the details of the drivers of the company that are associated with the vehicles used for transfer of goods in the Vehicles (lptur0132m000) session.
The Turkish law allows you to define multiple exemptions based on taxpayer status, shipment type, or delegation to carriers. The exceptions must be define in these sessions:
- The E-Transport exceptions for a carrier or LSP in the E-Transport Exceptions by Carrier/LSP (lptur0120m000) session.
- The E-Transport exceptions for an item in the E-Transport Exceptions by Item (lptur0121m000) session.
- The E-Transport exceptions for an origin or destination of the shipment in the E-Transport Exceptions by Origin/Destination (lptur0122m000) session.
The application supports various scenarios for foreign customers and recipients who are not registered in the e-delivery system. Also, a process extension library enables integration with custom databases when default data is not defined.
Extensibility
When the E-Transport data is not retrieved from the master data, nor from freight. The application uses a process extension (TUR.eTransport.GetData) to retrieve the data for e-Transport, for example for integration with third-party solutions or another existing database. The library name is Process Extensions for Turkish E-Transport (lpexttur0001).
