Generating general roles for /lnapi and /plmapi

If no API roles are available with full route authorization for /lnapi and /plmapi, you can generate general roles for these segments.

  1. Start the API Identities (ttmtm6140m000) session.
  2. Select an identity.
  3. Select Actions > Link Roles to Identities .
    This question is displayed: General role for segment /lnapi not present. Create?
  4. Click Yes.
    If you have entitlement for plmapi, this question is displayed: General role for segment /plmapi not present. Create?
  5. Click Yes.
    The API Roles (ttmtm6145m000) session starts and the newly generated roles (all_allowed_lnapi and all_allowed_plmapi) are displayed.
  6. Do not select any role.
  7. Click Save Changes and Exit .
Note: The all_allowed_lnapi role has full route authorization for /lnapi and all underlying routes. The all_allowed_plmapi role has full route authorization for /plmapi and all underlying routes. For both roles, All Methods , All Companies , Granted and Cascade are all set to Yes.
