Limit company change

New LN Tools functionality is available to specify authorizations for specific LN companies per user. If companies have been defined for a user, that user can only switch to those companies.

Changes in LN Tools

Per user, you can now specify user companies, that is, the companies for which the user is authorized. To specify companies for a user, use the new User Companies (ttams4161m000) session. This session can be started from the User Data (ttaad2500m000) session. User companies can be added manually, one by one, or as a range.

You can also link user companies to an AMS role, to which a user can be assigned. To specify companies for an AMS role, use the new Company Authorization tab in the Role Data (ttams4600m000) session. User companies can be added manually, one by one, or as a range.

The setting for the user companies can also be aggregated into an AMS role from the Employee by Project Model session in LN Enterprise Modeler.

Changes in the end user experience

If companies have been defined for a user, that user can only switch to those companies. Wen a user runs the Options > Change company command, only the companies for which the user is authorized are displayed. The user can select only those companies.

If no companies are stored for the user, or the User Companies Authorization is set to All Companies, then the user can select all companies. In that case, the Change Company (ttdsk2007m000) session works in the same way as in previous versions of LN.
