Recording the quantitative test data
To record the quantitative test data:
- Select the inspection order.
- Select the Measurements tab (for item) or the Parts tab (for characteristics or test sequence)
- Select the value that you want to record or change. An Edit Measurement window is displayed.

Specify the Document Number.
Note: The Document Number field is enabled only if:
- The Generate Document Number check box is cleared in the Quality Management Parameters (qmptc0100m000) session.
- The Conformance Reporting check box is selected in the Inspection Order (qmptc1100m100) session

Click Plus or Minus to increase or decrease the value in case a
norm or nominal value is defaulted. You can also specify the measurement value
manually.
Note:
- The value can be reset to 0 using .
- The norm or nominal values if specified, is defaulted, if the Insert Default Values for Measurement option is selected in settings. Else, 0 is displayed. However, you can modify the value.
- The units are based on the characteristic definition.
- Increase or decrease of values are based on the
measurement value type.
- If the measurement value is an integer, you must increase or decrease the value by 1.
- If the measurement value is a fraction, you must increase or decrease the value by the last decimal level value.
- Click Confirm to confirm and save the data or Dismiss to reject the data.
