LN Quality Inspections app

The LN Quality Inspections app enables the user to review the assigned inspection orders from the inspection location (Shop Floor, Raw Material Warehouse, Finished Goods Warehouse and so on).

Overview

You can record the inspection/testing data from the inspection location. The user can also use this app on the tablet.

You can use this app to:
  • Set and/or modify the default settings.
  • Review all the assigned inspection orders.
  • Review all the Open inspection orders for the specified period.
  • Specify the test data results based on the item, characteristics or test sequence (online and offline).
  • Specify or scan the lot or serial number of the item.
  • Specify the test data results (by quantity or quality)

Pre-requisites

  • The LN mobile app user must have a profile in the Quality user profile (qmptc0130m000) session in Infor LN to review or record the test data in the app.
  • User must be an IDM-user to upload and view the attachments.
  • User must have Infor MingleEnterprise Role to retrieve user information from mingle.
  • User must be assigned an inspection order in Resource Assignments (qmptc1160m000) session for an inspection order to be displayed in the app.

App Details

The user authorization is based on a Single Sign-On user name and password. On first launch, you must configure the app to set the preferences. After the configuration is completed, you can review the inspection order planned to be completed for week or month based on the period selection in Settings button (settings).

Order Inspections

The app enables you to scan and search the inspection order records on the toolbar based on:

  • Warehouse Inspection
  • Inspection Order ID
  • Item description
  • Inspection order origin description
  • Order number
  • Serial number
  • Lot number
Note: The data for order inspection is retrieved from the Order Inspections (qmptc1620m100) session.

You can use the Filter option to filter Order Inspections list based on the statuses. You can select the Filter option to view:

  • Show All Order in which order inspections with the Status is set to Free, Active, Completed and Processed are displayed.
    Note: By default, this option is selected.
  • Show Open Orders in which order inspections with the Status is set to Free and Active are displayed.
Note: The Filter option is enabled only if the Include Completed Orders option (toggle) is selected in the settings.

You can view Order Inspection, Item, Origin Order, Warehouse Inspection and Status in the Order Inspections list screen. For more information see Reviewing Order Inspection in Quality Inspection app

Note: 
  • Refresh icon is disabled if the Offline mode is selected in the settings.
  • Refresh error is displayed if there is failure in the synchronization of the test data with Infor LN.
  • Refresh icon is displayed on an item if the test data is not synchronized with Infor LN for the inspection order.
  • Left Arrow icon and Right Arrow icon are disabled if the Offline mode is selected in the settings.

Inspection Orders

You can view the list of inspection orders related to Order Inspection in the Order Details screen. You can also view Inspection Order, Warehouse, Re-Inspection, Operation and Line Status for each inspection order list item on the Order Details screen.

Note: The data for inspection orders is retrieved from the Inspection Orders (qmptc1100m200) session.

Inspection Order Details

You can select an inspection order or item to review the inspection order details such as purchase order number, warehouse, item related data, operation, Re-Inspection Order id (if any) inspection order data on the Details tab of the Inspection Order Details screen.

Note: 
  • The data for inspection order details is retrieved from the Inspection Order (qmptc1100m100) session.
  • If the selected inspection order or item contains only one sample, the Order Details screen is displayed.
  • If the selected inspection order or item contains more than one sample, the Sample screen is displayed that allows the user to select one sample for which the Order Details screen is displayed.
You can also review the status of the test data result for the part or aspect. The status test data results are:
  • Completed green: The inspection is complete and passed.
  • not completed red: The inspection is complete and failed.
  • Not inspected blankThe inspection is not carried out.
