Adding custom items

You can add custom items that are not a part of the standard items defined in Items (tcibd0501m000) session in Infor LN. You can click Add New Requisitions and use the Add Custom Item option, on the Requisitions screen to add a custom item to the requisition line.

You must execute the steps in Adding items to the requisition line, to add custom items to the requisition line with these exceptions:

• The Item Description field is mandatory.
• The Line Text field is mandatory.
• The default Quantity is 1. You can modify the value.
• The value in the Unit field is not defaulted. You must specify the units of the custom item.

When the custom item record is saved, the custom item is added to the Requisition Lines tab on the selected Requisition screen .
