Adding the Activity

The user can create a new Appointment or Task from the Activities screen.
Note: The new Appointment/Task is added to the Activities (tccom6100m000) session, in LN.

To add a new appointment:

  1. Click + on the Activities list screen and select Appointment. The New Appointment screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Subject
    A short description of the appointment.
    Location
    The location where the appointment takes place.
    Status
    The appointment status, which informs you about the progress of the appointment. Possible values are:
    • Planned
    • Held
    • Not Held.
    Start Date and time
    The date and time on which the appointment is started.
    End Date and time
    The date and time on which the appointment is ended.
    Reminder
    If this check box is selected, a reminder is set for the appointment.
    Reminder Value
    The amount of time before the appointment that you want the reminder to appear.
    Reminder time type
    The amount of time before the appointment that you want the reminder to appear. Possible values are:
    • Minutes
    • Hours
    • Days
    • Weeks.
    Show Time as
    An attendee's availability status during the time period of the appointment. Possible values are:
    • Free
    • Busy
    • Tentative
    • Out of Office.
    Business Partner
    The business partner for whom the appointment is made. Select one from list of Sold-to BPs.
    Attendees
    The attendance for the specified appointment. The user can add a new attendee by click the ‘+’(Adding an Attendee). By default, the user creating the Appointment is added as Meeting Organizer.
    Note: Press and hold on the Attendees list to select and delete an attendee (Attendee List).
    Attachments
    You can add attachments. You can capture image/video or select existing image/video/document.
    Note: 

    The added attachments can be viewed in Related Information Context app for LN in Infor OS by selecting the newly created Appointment in the Activities (tccom6100m000) session in LN.

  3. Click Save/Tick icon.

To add a new Task:

  1. Click + on the Activities list screen and select Task. The New Task screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Subject
    A short description of the task.
    Priority
    The priority assigned to the task. Possible values are:
    • Low
    • Normal
    • High.
    Status
    The task status, which informs you about the progress of the task. Possible values are:
    • Not Started
    • In Process
    • Completed
    • Waiting for Someone Else
    • Deferred.
    Start Date and time
    The date and time on which the task is started.
    End Date and time
    The date and time on which the task is ended.
    Reminder
    If this check box is selected, a reminder is set for the task.
    Reminder Date/time
    The date and time on which a user is reminded about following up on the task.
    Assigned to
    The employee to whom the task is assigned. Defaults to the user creating the task.
    Owner
    The employee who is the task owner and is responsible for execution of the task. Defaults to the user creating the task. User can change by selecting from employees list.
    Business Partner
    The business partner for whom the task is executed. Select from Sold-To BPs list.
    Information
    Use this field to add text to the task..
    Attachments
    You can add attachments. You can capture image/video or select existing image/video/any file.
    Note: 

    The added attachments can be viewed in Related Information Context app for LN in Infor OS by selecting the newly created Task in the Activities (tccom6100m000) session in LN.

  3. Click Save/Tick icon.
