Record the test data in offline mode
The app also enables you to record the test data results for the inspection order when the device is not connected to the internet. The data is synchronized later with Infor LN when the device is connected to the internet. You can select the Offline Mode option (toggle) in Settings to enable the offline mode. You must specify the passcode to authorize the recording of the test data in offline mode.
Note:
You must enable the Passcode Setting option (toggle) in Settings to record the test data in offline mode. If this option is not enabled, the app launches the passcode setting screen to enable and specify the passcode.
When you disable the Offline mode, the app displays an alert window with these
possible options:
- Sync & Proceed: Synchronizes any unsynchronized (offline modification) data with Infor LN and the app is refreshed with the data from Infor LN. If the synchronization of the test data with Infor LN fails, the app is not refreshed with the data from Infor LN till the unsynchronized data is fixed.
- Discard & Proceed: Discards any unsynchronized (offline modification) data and the app is refreshed with the data from Infor LN.
- Dismiss: Offline mode remains enabled and the alert window is closed.
