Outgoing Subassemblies

  1. Select Work Orders > Activities > Outgoing Subassemblies to view, create, or modify the Outgoing Subassembly data. The Outgoing Subassembly list screen is displayed.
  2. Select an outgoing subassembly item in list screen to view or edit details. The Outgoing Subassembly details view is displayed.
  3. Select Add to create outgoing subassembly.
  4. Specify this information Item detail screen:
    Item
    The item number of the outgoing subassembly.
    Serial Number
    The serial number of the outgoing subassembly.
    Note: 
    • This field is enabled only when Item is serialized.
    • You can scan serial number field from Scan option.
    • If selected serial number had lot, lot selection field will be defaulted to Specific and lot field will be defaulted with serial number’s lot.
    Serial Status
    The status of the selected serial number.
    Lot Selection
    The type of the lot selection for the outgoing subassembly.
    Lot
    The lot number of the selected outgoing subassembly item.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Is Lot Control In Use check box is selected in the Warehouse Master Data Parameter (whwmd0100s000) session and Lot Selection is set to Specific.
    Estimated Quantity
    The estimated quantity of the outgoing subassembly item.
    Planned Quantity
    The planned quantity of the outgoing subassembly item.
    Received from Subcontractor
    Select this check box to indicate that the outgoing subassembly is manually added for a subcontracted activity. This outgoing subassembly is a (broken) part received from the subcontractor.
    Ownership
    The ownership of the outgoing subassembly item.
    Business Partner
    The name of the business partner who owns the subassembly.
  5. Click Ellipses to view these options:
    • Related Orders: Use this option to view the list of orders related to the selected outgoing subassembly.
      Note: This option is enabled only when outgoing subassembly has at least one related order.
    • Materials List: Use this option to view the list of materials linked to the selected work order.
    • Add New Material: Use this option to create new material.
      Note: This option is enabled only when Action Incoming Subassembly field is set to No Action.
  6. Click MoreItem, Process, Execution and Other.
  7. Specify this information on Process Outgoing Subassembly details screen:
    Action Outgoing Subassembly
    The action that is performed on the outgoing subassembly. Possible values:
    • To Location
    • To Location for Work
    • To Warehouse
    • To Department
    • To Subcontractor
    • To Scrap
    • To be Decided
    Location
    The location of the outgoing subassembly.
    Note:  This field is enabled only if the Action Outgoing Subassembly field is set to To Location or To Location for Work.
    Warehouse
    The code of the warehouse.
    • This field is enabled only if the Action Outgoing Subassembly field is set to To Warehouse.
    • The value in this field is mandatory and the value is defaulted from the Warehouse Outgoing Parts specified in the Service Offices (tsmdm1100m000) session:
      • The specified Reference Activity and the Supply Item to Subcontractor check box must is selected in the Reference Activities (tsacm1101m000) session.
      • The Action Outgoing Subassembly field must be is set to To Subcontractor.
    • If the Received from Subcontractor check box is selected, the value in this field is defaulted from the Warehouse Incoming Parts specified in the Service Offices (tsmdm1100m000) session.
    Planned Receipt Time
    The planned date and time to receive the subassembly.
    Actual Receipt Time
    The actual date and time when the subassembly is received.
    Department
    The name of the department for outgoing subassemblies.
    Repair Warehouse
    Action Incoming Subassembly
    The action that is performed on an incoming subassembly.
    Purchase Order
    The code of the purchase order.
    Work Order
    The code of the work order.
  8. Specify this information on Execution Outgoing Subassembly details screen:
    Master Routing
    The code of the master routing.
    Routing Option
    The code of routing option. You can select a routing option that is linked to the selected Master Routing.
    Reference Activity
    The code of the reference activity.
    Subcontracting Activity
    The activity performed by the subcontractor on the subassembly.
    Actual Quantity
    The actual quantity of the executed outgoing subassembly.
  9. Specify this information on Other Outgoing Subassembly details screen.
    Scrap Reason
    The reason to scrap an item.
    Note: This field is enabled and mandatory only if Action Outgoing Subassembly field is set to To Scrap.
    Cost Component
    The code of the cost component.
    Turnaround Time Document
    The code of the Turnaround Time Document linked to the outgoing subassembly.
    Parent Item
    The code of the item selected for outgoing subassembly.
    Serial Number
    The serial number of the Parent Item.
    Position
    The position number of the selected item.
    Note: The application defaults the values in the Parent item, Serial number, and Position fields based on the selected Item.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Click Confirm.
