The inventory 360 goods flow map
The item, warehouse, site, and time period are taken from the session from which you started the map. You can start the map from these sessions:
- Inventory 360 - Graphical View (whwmd4300m200)
- Planned Inventory Transactions - Graphical View (whinp1300m000)
If no goods flow is present in the period for which you started the map, this error message is displayed:
“Cannot display Goods Flow Map, no Planned Inventory Transactions present for item <item code>.”
In the Settings (whwmd4300m100) or the Settings (whinp1300m100) session you can specify the types of goods flows that you want to be displayed on the map:
- Goods flows between warehouses
- Goods flows from business partners
- Goods flows to business partners
The positions on the map of the warehouses and business partners are based on the longitude and latitude of the addresses defined in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. If not present for any addresses involved in the goods flow, the goods flow will be incomplete.
Warehouses
Warehouses are shown on the map if they are present in the Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1500m000) or Planned Inventory Transactions - Graphical View (whinp1300m000) sessions for the selected item within the defined period.
The site filter is applied if the site is specified in the session from which the map is started.
Warehouses are displayed as triangles with the legend WH inside. The color of the warehouse depends on the economic stock. If the economic stock is less than zero, the triangle is red. Otherwise the triangle is green.
The tooltip of the warehouse contains this information:
- Warehouse code and description
- Economic stock and inventory unit
- Inventory on hand and inventory unit
- Inventory blocked and inventory unit
- Inventory allocated and inventory unit
- Inventory on order and inventory unit
- Address
For example:
WHAMS1 Warehouse Amsterdam
Economic Stock: 25 pcs
Inventory On Hand: 28 pcs
Inventory Blocked: 0 pcs
Inventory Allocated: 17 pcs
Inventory On Order: 14 pcs
London United Kingdom
Business partners
Ship-from or ship-to business partners are shown on the map if they are present in the Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1500m000) or Planned Inventory Transactions - Graphical View (whinp1300m000) sessions for the selected item within the defined period.
The site filter is applied if the site is filled in the session from which the map is started.
Suppliers are displayed as circles, with the legend SU inside. The color is blue for default sup-pliers defined in the Item - Purchase (tdipu0601m000) or the Items - Purchase by Site (tdipu0181m000) session. Otherwise, the circle is black.
Customers are presented as orange circles with the letters CU inside.
If a business partner is both a supplier and customer, the circle is green with the letters BP.
The tooltips for any of these objects show this information:
- BP code and description
- Address
Projects
If planned inventory transactions are related to projects, the projects are presented as black squares with the legend PR inside.
The project tooltips show this information:
- Project code and description
- Business partner description
- Address
Arrows
Arrows show the direction of the goods flows between the objects.
The map shows these goods movements:
- Warehouse to warehouse - transfer
- Warehouse to business partner – issue
- Business partner to warehouse – receipt
- Project to warehouse – receipt
- Warehouse to project – issue
The arrows point to the destination of the goods flow.
The movements between the ship-from object and the ship-to object are consolidated.
This means that multiple transactions from object A to object B are represented by a single arrow.
The arrow represents the total transaction quantity of all planned transactions during the period specified in the session from which the map was started.
The arrows have a weight, that is, a width, that is determined by the transported quantity. The larger the quantity transported, the wider the arrow.
An arrow has a tooltip, which shows this information:
- Item and description
- Kind of order, order number, line, sequence (only if there is one order line and not a consolidation of transactions)
- Planned quantity in inventory unit and inventory unit
- Last transaction date
