Using the Probability doughnut graph
The Probability graph is available in these sessions:
- Inventory 360 - Graphical View (whwmd4300m200)
- Planned Inventory Transactions - Graphical View (whinp1300m000)
To view information in the doughnut graph, you must select a line in the lines section of either session.
In the Planned Inventory Transactions - Graphical View (whinp1300m000), you can also click on the item selected in the Item field to view information in the doughnut graph.
The Probability doughnut graph shows the on-hand inventory, the planned inventory movements, and the planned inventory transactions of the item. In the Planned Inventory Transactions - Graphical View (whinp1300m000) session, this is the item related to the planned inventory transaction selected in the lines section.
The period used to determine the item quantities is derived from the number of periods and the period type specified in the Settings (whwmd4300m100) session or the Settings (whinp1300m100) session. The period starts at the beginning of the current period.
If a site or a warehouse is specified in the Filter group box, item quantities with matching sites or warehouses are presented in the doughnut graph.
Doughnut center
The doughnut graph center shows the projected inventory quantity at the end of the defined period in the inventory unit.
The projected inventory quantity is calculated by adding the parts of the doughnut ring:
- the current inventory on hand
- the sum of the planned inventory transactions
- the sum of the planned inventory movements
A tooltip is shown when you hover over the doughnut graph center. The tooltip shows the minimum and maximum projected inventory during the period and the related date.
The minimum and maximum quantities are determined by checking the projected inventory quantity at the end of every period type, that is, hour, day, week or month.
If the minimum and maximum projected inventory quantities are reached in more than one period, the first period is displayed in the tooltip, even if the periods are not connected. For example:
Minimum Projected Inventory: 16 pcs at 2025-10-24
Maximum Projected Inventory: 42 pcs at 2025-10-21
Doughnut ring
The doughnut ring consists of these sections:
-
