Using the Exceptions stats and filters in the Inventory 360 - Graphical View (whwmd3400m200) session

Each tile in Exceptions group box is used as a statistic and as a filter, and is provided with a counting field and a check box.

To activate a filter, select the check box or click on the statistic.

The items that match the activated filter may also match other filters. The number of matching items is displayed in the counting fields of the other filters.

Example

These items are stored in warehouse XYZ:

  • AB1
  • AB2
  • AB3
  • AB4
  • AB5

Item AB2 and AB3 have excess inventory and item AB5 has overdue receipts.

If you select warehouse XYZ in the Warehouse filter field, items AB1 – AB5 with their respective quantities are displayed in the lines section of the session.

The counting field of the Excess Inventory tile shows the total excess inventory of 2 items.

The counting field of the Receipt Overdue tile shows the total receipt overdue inventory of 1 item.

If you then click the Receipt Overdue button, the matching 1 item is displayed in the lines section of the session.

If you select an item in the lines section, the corresponding information is displayed in the doughnut graph and the inventory monitor graph.

The Exceptions group box includes these statistic and filter combinations:

  • Projected Negative

Shows items whose projected on hand inventory is negative at the end of the period defined in the chart settings, starting today.

The Excess Inventory and Below Safety Stock filters are cleared if they were selected while selecting the Projected Negative filter.

  • Excess Inventory

Shows items whose projected on hand inventory exceeds the safety stock at the end of the period defined in the chart settings, starting today.

The Projected Negative and Below Safety Stock filters are cleared if they were selected while selecting the Excess Inventory filter.

  • Below Safety Stock

Shows items whose projected on hand inventory is less than the safety stock at the end of the period defined in the chart settings, starting today.

The Projected Negative and Excess Inventory filters are cleared if they were selected while selecting the Below Safety Stock filter.

  • Receipt Overdue

Shows the number of items that have planned receipt transactions with a transaction date before today. If the period type is set to hours in the Settings (whwmd4300m100) session, the current hour is taken as the starting point. For all other period types, the starting point is today.

No number is shown in the stats of the Exceptions group box if no site, warehouse, or item group is set in the Filter Items group box.
