Rental Agreement Terms (tsmdm0122m000)
Use this session to view and maintain rental agreement terms for rental pricing and invoicing.
Rental agreement terms can be defined for various item-related levels, such as item, service item group, serialized item group, installation group, and rental office.
Note:
- You can access this session only if the Use Rental Agreement Terms check box is selected in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.
- You can specify only the Installation Group, if the Item, Service Item Group, or Serialized Item Groupis specified.

The code of the item for which the rental agreement terms are defined.
Note: This field is enabled only if a value is not specified in the Service Item Group and the Serialized Item Group field.
- Serial Number

The serial number of the item for which the rental agreement terms are defined.
Note: This field is enabled only if a serialized controlled item is specified in the Item field.
- Service Item Group

The code of the service item group for which the rental agreement terms are defined.
Note: This field is enabled only if a value is not specified in the Serialized Item Group and the Item field.
- Serialized Item Group

The code of the serialized item group for which the rental agreement terms are defined.
Note: This field is enabled only if:
- The Serialized Item Group Usage check box is selected in the Configuration Management Parameters (tscfg0100m000) session.
- A value is not specified in the Service Item Group and the Item field.
- Installation Group

The code of the installation group for which the rental agreement terms are defined.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Installation Groups check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
- Logistic Company

The code of the logistic company to which the rental office is linked.
Note: You can specify a company with the Company Type field set to Both or Logistic in theCompanies (tcemm1170m000) session.
- Rental Office

The code of the office that owns the rental equipment. You can define rental agreement terms for the combination of an item or item group and a rental office.
Note:
- This field is enabled only if a value is specified in the Logistic Company field. If a logistic company is specified, you must specify a rental office.
- You can specify a rental office that is linked to the specified company.

- Cost Specification Type

The type of deviation from the agreed rental conditions for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Allowed values
- Rental Period Extension
-
The deviation where the agreed rental period is extended, for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the item is rentable item.
- Exceeding Rental Agreement
-
The deviation where the agreed rental quantities or conditions are exceeded, for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the item is non-rentable item.
- Rental Early Return
- The deviation where rental equipment is returned earlier than agreed, for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
- Quantity Based On

The period or quantity for which the customer must be invoiced for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.

- Minimum Period

The minimum rental period for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Early Return.
- Cumulative Period

The accumulated rental period for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Period Extension.
- Extended Period
-
The rental period exceeding the agreed period for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Period Extension.
- Cumulative Quantity
-
The accumulated quantity for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Exceeding Rental Agreement.
- Exceeding Quantity

The quantity exceeding the agreed amount for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Exceeding Rental Agreement.
- Used

The actual rental period used for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Early Return.
- Source of Rate

The rate source that must be used to invoice the customer for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.Note: This Field is enabled only if the Quantity Based On field is set to a value other than Minimum Period.
Allowed values
- Initial Rate
- The initially agreed rental rate that must be used to invoice the customer for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
- Price Structure
- The rate retrieved from the applicable price structure that must be used to invoice the customer for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
- Retro-Billing

If this check box is selected, the previously invoiced amounts are recalculated when a different rental rate applies based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Quantity Based On field is set to Cumulative Period, Cumulative Quantity, or Used and the Source of Rate field is set to Price Structure.
- Minimum Rental Period

The minimum rental period for which the customer must be invoiced for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
Note:
- This field is enabled only if:
- The Cost Specification Type field is set to Rental Early Return.
- The Quantity Based On field is set to Minimum Period.
- The value in this field is defaulted from the related field:
- In the Serialized Item (tscfg2600m000) session, if a value is specified in the Item and Serial Number fields.
- In the Items - Service (tsmdm2100m000) session, if a value is specified only in the Item field.
- In the Rental Equipment Terms Template (tscfg0111m000) session, if a value is specified in the Serialized Item Group field.
- This field is enabled only if:
- Minimum Rental Period Unit

The unit of the minimum rental period for which the customer must be invoiced for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.

- The date on which the rental agreement term is modified.
